There are several styles/weight umbrella bases available.
All of the bases we stock are aluminum. An aluminum base is preferable to a cast aluminum base, as aluminum will never rust. The size of the umbrella usually determines the weight of base the customer needs. A 50lb. base is enough for a 9ft. and 11ft umbrella. The oblong umbrellas will need a larger base and a customer who may have wind issues may want to consider a heavier base or add on weight that can be screwed into the bottom of the standard 50lb. bases.
The bases can be ordered in a variety of finishes to coordinate with the umbrella frame or the customer’s furniture finish (Art Deco base shown above). |
